I’m just picking nine books this month, as I’ve really enjoyed the freedom that September’s mood reading gave me – so a small list, but hopefully one that will be easy to clear!

Witchstorm – Tom Tilley
First up is this gorgeous middle grade book, which showed up unexpectedly on my doorstep but couldn’t sound more like my cup of tea!
The Witches of Cambridge – Menna van Praag
I’ve wanted to read this book for ages – it looks so sweet and fluffy, and the cover is really cheer-inducing so it’ll be perfect as the nights draw in.
Payback’s a Witch – Lana Harper
I’ve recently enjoyed The Ex Hex and Hex Appeal, so I’m looking forward to another paranormal rom com in a similar vein.

I Shall Wear Midnight and The Shepherd’s Crown – Terry Pratchett
I have two books left in Tiffany Aching’s story, and I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve read so far. I’d like to get through her last two adventures this month, though I’ve heard that The Shepherd’s Crown isn’t quite the ending everyone hoped for.
Wyrd Sisters – Terry Pratchett
And after that it’s time to take a step into the other witch stories of Discworld! I’m apprehensive about this, as the main Discworld stories have never appealed to me, but I’m hoping the shared characters will carry me through.

The Witch’s Tower – Tamara Grantham
This one’s been lurking on my Kindle for so long, I’ve completely forgotten what it’s about! It looks like it’s a retelling of Rapunzel, so hopefully it’ll be a fun, quick read.
The League of Gentlewomen Witches – India Holton
I had so much fun with the first book in this world, The Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels, and I’m sure this is going to be another romp of a historical fantasy romance!
The Ruthless Lady’s Guide to Wizardry – CM Waggoner
And our last witch is actually a wizard, but I’m counting it. I’m currently reading Waggoner’s first book, Unnatural Magic, and it’s brilliant so far, so I can’t wait to crack into this.
As usual, I’ll update with mini-reviews as I read – wish me luck and let me know if there’s anything I should read first!
I love all of the witchy picks! I hope you enjoy them.
