You probably know by now that I love KJ Charles’s writing, and this spooky, steamy collection of stories is no exception. I was reminded of it recently, so here’s a review!
I can’t believe this is the final outing for Irene and the Invisible Library gang, and I’m delighted to be part of the blog tour to send this fabulous series off with some fanfare. (BE AWARE: the blurb of this book contains a massive spoiler for the previous book, so don’t read on if you’re not up-to-date!)
I really wasn’t expecting to enjoy this book as much as I did – but I ended up having a good time!
This clever alternate history is one part intrigue, one part romance, one part family drama, and many parts compelling story!
As you saw in my 20 Books of Summer TBR post, this is my oldest review copy. I’m so pleased to have finally made time to read it – and I enjoyed it just as much as I’d hoped!
