This is the first of my blog tour posts for July, which as I mentioned in my June Wrap Up will be the only times you’ll hear from me this month – so I’m pleased the exception is for such a fabulous book!

Kitten Corner: Exploring and Learning
From tiny bugs to the entire universe, there’s a lot to learn about when you’re small, and these five books all showcase different things to get little kids interested in the workings of the world. All of these books were sent to me free of charge, but that doesn’t affect my opinions – I enjoyed all of them and think they’ll get a lot of reading!
Kitten Corner: Funny Picture Books
Recently in Kitten Corner I’ve been reading a fair few funny picture books, so that’s what we’re looking at today! All of these were sent to me for review, but that doesn’t affect my opinions. It’s been fun to share them all with my toddler!
Middle Grade Mini-Reviews: Girl Power!
I’ve read a number of middle grade books recently with fabulously determined, powerful girls at the forefront, so I thought I’d scoop them up into one post for you as a kind of showcase of fun heroines! All of these books were sent to me free of charge, either as e-ARCs via NetGalley or as physical proofs, but as ever that doesn’t affect my opinions. There’s a wide range, from modern day thriller to historical fantasy, so hopefully something will catch your eye…
Kitten Corner: Gorgeous Gift Books
I have three books to show you today which don’t have a lot in common beyond the fact that I think each of them would make an amazing gift – they’re all beautiful hardbacks that feel really special, and slightly outside the ordinary for kids’ books. All three of these were sent to me free of charge by the publishers, but that doesn’t affect my opinions: I genuinely think they’re all lovely!
Kitten Corner: A Chapter Book Round Up
I’ve read a few amazing new chapter books recently, so I thought I’d round them all up for you in one post! All of the books featured in this post were sent to me free of charge by the publishers, but that doesn’t affect my opinions of them. All of these are fun and exciting reads that really show off the fact that chapter books have just as much range as any other age bracket – from space adventure to fairy tale, they’re filled with humour and warmth!
Blog Tour: Hedgewitch by Skye McKenna
You might have caught me raving about how much I loved Hedgewitch in my review a couple of weeks ago – but I’m back to show it off even more, because this book is just so wonderful! I have some fun profiles of some of the main characters, plus some stunning art to tempt you into picking up this lovely witchy read…
Kitten Corner: Short Books, Big Ideas
This is quite a varied selection today, but what these very different books all have in common is that they’ll get kids engaged with learning new concepts, even if they don’t necessarily realise it! All of these books were sent to me free of charge, but that doesn’t affect my opinions.
Kitten Corner: A Cornucopia of Nature Books
We’re in the full flush of spring now, and if you’re looking forward to getting outside more often, I have a great selection of picture and board books that have a focus on nature, whether that’s the plants you might grow or the creatures you might discover. All of these were sent to me free of charge, but my opinions are my own as always.
Review: The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner
I was so excited when I saw this book, which I really enjoyed as a kid, was getting a rerelease!
