Amora and the crew of the Keel Haul return in this sequel to All the Stars and Teeth!
I was super excited for this book. Pirates, magical land ships, an f/f romance – it all sounded like it was going to be very much my cup of tea. But unfortunately, I really struggled to click with something about The Forever Sea, and I ended up coming out thinking it was just… okay.
This is a review I’ve been meaning to write since I turned the last page of this fun piratical YA fantasy, but I’ve let myself get a little behind – it’s no fault of the book!
Remember how much I adored Viper by Bex Hogan, the Slytherin pirate book of my dreams? Well, refresh yourself on my review here, and then come back, because today I’m on the blog tour for the amazing sequel, Venom!

I loved the first book in this spooky, magical series, and A Sprinkle of Sorcery is even better!
A delightfully queer tale of soft pirates and fierce sirens, filled with kindness and adventure and excellent rep… Our Bloody Pearl is an absolute treasure!
I’ve been eyeing The Company of Eight for a while, and with the sequel The Conspiracy of Magic just out, I leapt at the chance to catch up!
It’s the UK release day for one of the most exciting books of the year, The Bone Ships by RJ Barker! Are you ready for your buckles to be swashed?
An action-packed glimpse into our future, where sea levels have risen and only the wealthiest manage to live on dry land, inside the Wall…
Oh gosh, Viper was a book I fell in love with from the moment I first saw it. Things I adore on covers are intricate graphic design, metallic foil, and snakes, so this really hit the jackpot for me! Then I realised it was a swashbuckling, piratical adventure with fantasy politics and a kickass heroine, and I was completely sold.
