Everything about this book sounded like it was going to be exactly my kind of thing (sign me up for any and all f/f fairy tale political fantasy!) and it really hit the spot!
Do you ever have a book that you suspect you’re going to love so much that you can’t bring yourself to read it? I’ve been putting off reading A Deadly Education for ages, because the hype was just too much, but I’m so glad I finally bit the bullet, because I think this might be the best book I’ve read all year.
You ever just read a book so perfect for you that it’s like the author wrote it on spec to your preferences? Yeah, this book is EXACTLY what I’m looking for in a YA fantasy.
Dangerous Remedy was one of my most anticipated reads of the year, promising an action-packed take on Revolutionary France full of queer rep and weird science!
I honestly don’t know what I thought of this book – in some ways, I thought it was great, and in others, I thought it rather underdelivered… It was an experience, for sure!

In my review of Windwitch, I mentioned that it had taken some of the shine off the series for me – so, did Bloodwitch manage to pull things back? In short, yes!
Remember how much I adored Viper by Bex Hogan, the Slytherin pirate book of my dreams? Well, refresh yourself on my review here, and then come back, because today I’m on the blog tour for the amazing sequel, Venom!

One of the things I absolutely adore about this series is the intricate way the cultures of the islands are depicted – each one has its own flavour, from the natural resources it possesses to the way the people live, and they’re all tied together in a way that feels very realistic to how a world would work. And of course, they have their own stories, which is what I have for you today: a sneak peek at one of the myths behind the Eleventh Isle! Read on to find out more… Continue reading “Blog Tour: Venom”
Grave Mercy was unexpectedly perfect for me!
Belle Révolte is a tricky book to review – it has some flaws, but on the whole, I really enjoyed it!
